DESCRIPTION OF LIVEABOARD DIVING AND SAILING HOLIDAY IN GREECE
This week long diving and sailing holiday in Greece takes you on an odyssey around the Cyclades islands, beneath their crystalline waters to the depths below, and onto the shores of some of Greece’s most exquisite deserted islands. Liveaboard diving and sailing holidays are the way to truly immerse yourself in Aegean sea. The skipper and crew are not just sailing experts, they are also licensed PADI & SSI Divemasters, who will lead you to dive sites where visibility can easily reach up to 35 meters or more into the deep blue.
Dive sites on this wonderful Greece adventure holiday take you down to the mysterious marine-scapes of shipwrecks, artefacts from ancient cities, secret caverns and, of course, reefs. With a wide array marine life, from barracuda to octopus, parrot fish to scorpion fish darting in and out of the sponges, sea anemones and tube worms that adorn these waters.
Also a sailing holiday, Greece‘s waters are home to dolphins, sea turtles and sometimes even sperm whales, so keep your eyes open when chilling on board and heading from one remote island to another. Our onboard guides and dive leaders are passionate about marine ecology and conservation, and because you ‘liveaboard’ there is plenty of time for talks and presentations to keep you well informed as to all the biodiverse beauties you will encounter on this sailing and diving holiday.
Sailing in a small group, maximum six people plus crew, our sleeping accommodation is in four double cabins. The cost of this sailing and diving holiday includes five dives, one of which is to a shipwreck, and the other is at night (for those who have some diving experience already or otherwise to a cavern).
