The ISSA Inshore Skipper course is aimed at candidates who wish to develop the skills and confidence to skipper a yacht in coastal waters. During the course, students learn both theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to skipper a sailing yacht up to 24 meters in length, within 20 nautical miles of the coastline, in moderate weather conditions.
Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, participants are eligible to take the ISSA Offshore Skipper course.
